honestly the only reason I read book 2 (Hammer and Hollis’s story) in the series, which is a dad’s best friend romance… which I hate, was to get Dallas’s book and then Roman’s
been looking forward to this one since I saw Dallas and Hemi’s dynamic in book 1

I think I’m a bit bored?

I just love Dallas. He is willing to do anything for the FMC. He is indeed delivering his promise to be the best fake boyfriend. I’m just disappointed with the FMC though. At this point I don’t feel she deserves him. A part of me wishes she loses him so she can realize what she has.

Too many characters who have 3-4 nicknames each, which I find unnecessary and makes it awfully confusing to read. The H seems nice and the h gives off bitter and annoying vibes. DNF

Okay, I’m 84% through. At the 3rd act breakup. And this one is pmo so bad!!! I was trying to push through bc I think the spicy scenes are good but I just can’t do it— I feel like everyone was making dumb decisions and nothing made sense???? like if I sit and think too hard about ANY of it, NONE of it makes sense!!!! so im dnf-ing which I hate bc im almost done

I am not enjoying this one so much. It is supposed to be a standalone, but a big chunk of it is spent on the couples of previous books. Also if you haven’t read the previous books you might be very confused since one person can have different nicknames. If you aren’t invested on the previous couples, this book might fall a bit flat.

What happened to giving her more⏳️, Dallas?🤦🏾‍♀️ I feel like what he overheard her say to Shilpa should have made his determination to wait for her stronger. He didn't let her say anything, just emotionally word vomited and tapped out in what he thought was an altruistic manner. 👁
