I'm surprised how much I'm liking this so far. Like, take away the kitsch, the Disney Easter eggs, the contrivances. I LIKE the two MCs. I like the two of them torturing someone together and getting turned on by it. AND I KNOW HOW RIDICULOUS A SENTENCE THAT IS!! But, like, take away the ridiculousness and I like their dialog and the way they play off each other. But yes, it's kitschy and contrived.
