Any other book this would be sexy. But this 1? Not so much. She was raped & controlled for 1 year, dude! How are you any different?!

H marries her & she robotically joins in ;( Not liking how H is using her like all the other men did. And he likes her obedient & flat.

Nothing romantic about this robot romance. But I still have some hope so...

Keeping my 1-star rating until/unless it changes as I read more.

@chapter 8...H now starting to show his hand. He picked drugged-up but now-rehabbing emotionless h as his "perfect partner" to (I think) sabotage his arranged engagement to his cheating fiance. Poor h is acting like a robot now that she's out of her withdrawals.

Several chapters in and I feel like this book needed SEVERAL trigger warnings. That aside, it’s good so far and I want to know more about Ghost’s background.

So far so good and the last book I read in this series was pretty good so let’s hope this one is just as good
