POV the book is getting to the point that you don’t know what’s actually happening so you have to keep going back and forth from the map and the pages so you can try to understand 😭😭😭

Ok I take it back they are not part fae, they are apparently demigods. Not sure how that all worked out but I am just gonna go with it 😅

Ok first of all Farrin and her sisters are part fae?!?!? Second of all the searching and traveling to find out what is wrong leads them to their mother who is inside the Middlemist?!?!??

POV the felling you get when it 12 am and the enemies finally confessed their feelings for each other 🥳🥳🥳

Tbh it only took 195 pages probably the fastest I have seen in any series yet (could be wrong but ehhh)

I hate to say it, but Lord Alaster definitely clocked Farrin and her family for freeing the monster, especially Gemma, because he outed her relationship with Talan. I hate to say it, but I fear he ate in that conversation

Ooooooo, the lovebirds are bickering (Farrin + Ryder) (I hope she finds someone by the end of the book, cause she needs someone. If it's Ryder, I would be happy about it, not sure about anyone else yet at this moment)

Stop, I love how Farrin's first assumption is not that the Queen and her mother were friends but lovers and having an affair...... like girl why are you thinking that?!?!??!

Ok... so is there some type of insane backstory with the mom or something, cause the Queen wants to know about the Mom and her powers. Also, was the mom some type of powerful magic person because Farrin isn't exactly sure the extent of her mom's powers

Actually, never mind, he was in danger and the author tricked me into thinking there was no danger, but dang, there actually was danger, and Farrin could have actually died if it weren't for the Queen.

Farrin why are you pretending not to have some feelings for Ryder why girl why????? You literally just sacrificed your life for him within the first 50 pages of the book 🤨 even though he wasn’t in any real danger 🤨🤨🤨🤨

Ok so I thought Farrin would be less annoying than her sister Gemma(the female lead from book 1) which is true but girly is rude, like she yelled Emry for no reason because she didn’t like how she played the piano.

Just started this book, only on page 10 and the book has already got me hooked. So the novel went back in time a bit and the female lead is currently 11 years old and just got rescued from a fire, and OH MY GOSH the mystery boy who rescued her said “ Star or my life” and trust me I know this book is about to be good when the female lead gets a nickname 😁
