My family bought this for me as a birthday present - to help in my writing. I've gotten a lot out of his 'ideas' section - and I'm an ideas nut! I am always coming up with new ideas for a story, but I like the advice James gives here - to come up with 100 ideas for good books, and then pick the few that are the cream of the crop to actually write, seeing I don't really have time to write 100 books...
