Good premise to the story

Hmm this was weird. It could’ve been better with just a dream that inspires the family history. The Costa rice trip and the main character being worried her father was going to hurt himself were non essential parts of the story. I like a little magic but this wasn’t for me

I’m getting sick and tired of all the talk about “Constellations.”

Pretty “ugh”. Contrived. The protagonist is manipulative and feels like a fake. I will probably not finish. There are too many good books to waste my life reading schlock.
