First foray to London

Genuinely laugh out loud in places and beautifully written. A West Yorkshire life.

Some of my ancestors lived in Yorkshire, so I picked this book up as it's about Yorkshire. I have never heard of Armitage but he's written a few books and might be a comedian. This is dry stuff...I've snorted once, not really a laugh I think I am too Australian for this...but plugging on....

So far it enjoyable, being from manchester I understand some references. Though some pass me by, not so much of the clever insightful metaphors I have discovered in some of his other work, but will finnish.
