Not Henrietta!! Not Jojo!!
I will say this book can be a bit hard to read with the depictions of death on queer bodies, so please tread carefully y’all.

I've finished this. I loved it. Review to be posted at some point tomorrow.
I need to move the first 3 books in this series up to the top of my tbh list.
This was delightful and while I own the 1st 2 books in this series, this is technically the 4th book in the series. I wasn't confused or lost. This a blend of both police procedural and cozy mystery with elements of law & order, mixed in for spice.

'Right-wing US entities like the American Center for Law and Justice and the Family Research Council, also active in Africa, strongly allied themselves with the ICF and helped sustain its international anti-gay agenda.
The Cortlands had already achieved successes in Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda, where homosexuality could result in the death penalty. Now the ICF had turned to Ghana.'
Yas! Call them out!!!!!

'I have committed an embarrassing blunder.' LOL I love how the characters speak.
I need to remember this phrase the next time I make a mistake.
