I love literary vampire novels. So much angst and yearn.

istg if this isn’t as sapphic as I want it to be I might riot

I want to make my therapist read this book and then tell me how to live my life.

Strong candidate for the worst thing I’ve read this side of 2000.

The writing is overworked, dull and self-indulgent and the plot is meandering when present and fully detailed in the blurb.

The fact that this got published makes me worried about the future of literature.

The subject is so unusual and werd for me, yet i don’t want to stop reading. The writing style is just so unique.

Have come to the conclusion that fictional characters shouldn’t shit

It's quite a slow read and pretty depressing but I think that's the meaning of the book to feel some kind of melancholy and if that's the intention, I'm all here for it!

(Testing to see if Goodreads moves the highlighted currently reading book to the latest updated one, not just the one that was sent to "Currently Reading" most recently, which it didn't seem to have been doing last I checked)
