Status Updates From Same Time Next Year

Okay. I started this book in order to keep adding to my number of books read this year, and I thought it’d be cute. But after I started, I read the reviews. My goodness this book sucks. There’s an entire chapter dedicated to broccoli cheddar soup and I’m ripping my eyes out. The FMC and MMC are insufferable and unrealistic… and overall super annoying. But, I’m gonna finish it. But I hate it.

Lots of lust going on, but if you ignore that, you can also see the seeds of love, or at least intense like. I can't decide if this is a spicy romance or a spicy fantasy...

For someone who doesn't want to get marry and have children she agreed to that deal really quick. And poor Sumner.... he seems like he really does like her....I hope he doesn't get hurt in the process.

Honestly, Idk what I think about this book. I see the vision, but man oh man. The structure and the writing could take a workshop.

Oh my goodness!!! This is errr not the Christmas book I expected! Mind you the lack of anything Christmassy anything on the cover should have told me that lol. It starts at New Year so still at the holiday season I guess.

Tessa Bailey can certainly write a scene!!! Blimey! It might be cold outside but it's a lot warmer inside!!

This is a cute and funny novella. I’m really enjoying it so far.
