عندما يحيا المرء شطرا طويلا من الزمن بمفرده، فإن الطريقة الوحيدة لإثبات أنه لم يزل حيا هي التعبير عن النشاطات التي يزاولها والأشياء بتراكيب نحوية يسهل مشاركتها.
الناس نوعان: أولئك الذين يعيشون فحسب، وأولئك الذين يصمَمون حيواتهم.
قرأت حينا في كتاب لسول بيلو بأن الفرق بين أن تكون حيا وأن تكون ميتا هي وجهة نظر: فالأحياء ينظرون من المركز إلى الخارج، بينما ينظر الموتى من المحيط الخارجي إلى ما يشبه المركز.

الهواجس ظل مديد على مرجة خضراء....

كان يتحمس اذا ما التقط فكرة ما ، وسرعان ما يمتلىء بخيبة الأمل..ههنا تتجلى ميزته العظمى....

فالناس مشغولون بحيواتهم إلى الحد الذي لن يلاحظوا فيه ميتات الآخرين الصغيرة....

تحتاج الروايات نفساً ثابتاً مستداماً ..هذا ما يحتاجه الروائيون ..لا احد يعلم معنى هذا بالضبط إلا أن الجميع يقول : نفساً ثابتاً.....

I’m struggling with this, but want to give it my best.

Me caga, me caga la pretensión que tiene con Owen, NY y la literatura en general. Ugh, ew. Pero, por otro lado, el tratamiento de lo fantasmal, el estilo y, sobre todo, el humor, me están gustando mucho.

No me explico en qué momento se empezó a invertir el proceso que yo imaginaba lineal y ascendente, y que al final resulta ser una especie de búmeran despiadado que regresa y te tumba los dientes, el entusiasmo y los huevos

Ahora elegimos, porque de alguna manera lo elegimos, ensayar principios de finales provocar temblores para que la casa se caiga

A penas comienzo y me encanta. La estructura, de poco aliento y adecuada al ritmo de la vida de la narradora, es justificada como un personaje. La prosa es precisa, bella sin mucho adorno y divertida con buenos juegos de palabras que se agradecen bastante.

Es muy su estilo , combina diferentes narraciones , dice que su estilo no es confesional pero habla de su vida y de Gilberto Owen

This literary novel has gotta be better than flings

I’m not really sure what I’m listening to anymore. This has been enjoyable, but also not. Everyone is so weird in this.

Getting through this one on audiobook. Seems rather sad to me so far. I think it's the relationship with her kids and with her husband that are really throwing me off. I might be jumping the gun here but honestly, fuck them kids and I hope I never have a relationship with a partner that's this stagnant and monotonous.

That's the way literary recognition works, at least to a certain degree. It's all a matter of rumor, a rumor that multiplies like a virus until it becomes a collective affinity.

I'm either missing something or it's heading somewhere I don't generally enjoy. Or both.
