Status Updates From The Gravity Between Us

Idk. The book does a lot of telling rather than showing. It was okay. Anticlimactic I guess with the ending but every one seems happy and all. I feel like the problem could have been solved very quickly and I found the moping about for like a month or two super annoying. The language is simple and straightforward, lots of hyperbole, random alliteration, similes. The characters don’t have much depth to them.

Mmmm the characters are quite immature at times and have crazy mood swings, not being able to control their emotions. Besides that, the plot is a bit strange and doesn’t make the most sense. I mean Payton having to move away indefinitely to hide the fact that Kendall is also a lesbian. I mean it’s the 21st century for goodness sakes, the lgbt community has never been so recognised and respected.

I'm using this to study the dynamics of friends to lovers. I can see some hints of greatness, but some larger hints of...not exactly what I'm looking for.
