That quote in impermanence hit my harder than I thought it would, because it’s true in the sense that, as people we aren’t able to fully grasp that everything around us is impermanent and transitory. Everything is constantly changing around us and when we come to a realization that things change, our default is to go straight to nihilism. But impermanence should inspire presence, not fear.
