It will be a miracle if I finish this book

I am enjoying A Course In Miracles and reading this book slowly, thoughtfully, and mindfully ... wonderful writings in this book such as 'the undivided Will of the Sonship' and 'the Treasure of God' and 'Healing as Corrected Perception' ... I will soon begin reading about 'The Invitation to Healing' and 'From Darkness to Light' ... so many wonderful spiritual insights to look forward to in this lovely book.

Deep, metaphysical, inspirational, and grounded spiritual wisdom. I have read about the meaning of miracles, the separation and atonement, the innocent perception, the illusions of the ego, along with healing and wholeness. I am now reading about lessons of love.

This book has many strange statements such as this: “Here does the Son of God stop briefly by, to offer his devotion to death’s idols and then pass on. And here he is more dead than living...”

Oh man. Reading and crying, crying and reading. This book is otherworldly.

“Peace is an attribute in you. You cannot find it outside. Illness is some form of external searching. Health is inner peace. It enables you to remain unshaken by lack of love from without and capable, through your acceptance of miracles, of correcting the conditions proceeding from lack of love in others.”

I’m reading this one again, because every time I do, I get something so much deeper from it.

This is definitely NOT a popcorn read. That shit is DENSE and DEEP. I love it. Miracles are described as anything that comes from love.

“Miracles are habits, and should be involuntary. They should not be under conscious control. Consciously selected miracles can be misguided.

Miracles are natural. When they do not occur something has gone wrong.”

Found this tremendously hard-going and often had to read over sentences. Is it in the writing? This book was a gift, so want to persevere, but shelved for the time being - other fish to fry!

On lesson 34. This book takes a year to complete but I feel such a big shift in my joy and peace level. There are some rough times as I work through my issues and then I take a leap forward. I am experiencing life changes like crazy and loving the experience. I attempted this course 5 times in the last 20 years, so it takes being open and ready to do the work and being ok with not understanding it all the time.

Incredibly impactful

this is some serious mind training in a surreal book.

This is a three part book of which I read a few pages in each section. Very thought arousing that our biggest problem is to think we are separate from God. We are not when you get around your ego to Be With God in Every Breathe

You get stuck in these pages for days. 111 is a turn around page that opens your eyes.

Daily Reading, Page 111 will open your eyes to how close we are to our spiritual roots.
