Status Updates From What Purpose Did I Serve in...

The book opens with a Kate Millett quote from 1968. It was applicable to many men & women then. (Though not really career women like my mother.) But it sure as heck isn't true for most Westerners today. This adherence to a binary male/female thing is one of the clear differences between MC and my younger self (or myself at any age)

Having read lots of books recently which have a clear style, I really find this so ... nothingy.
But because the whole concept of judgement is significant with this work, I keep asking myself how fair I'm being. Should I recategorise as "cultural phenomenon" rather than "literature"?

I got this last night! Six months of preorder waiting. I see why there's a spiral design on the cover. It's b/c the book isn't the size of a regular novel but a notebook. Ahhhhhhh
