This is an amazing book that I have read before. It’s supper fun and easy. I haven’t read it in years though. I really love it and can’t wait to read more when and if I have time. I’ve only read 18 pages lol. #donthaveanytimetodomyfavritething

Is this a children's book? Yes. Does it read like a library/board game version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Yes. Can I put it down? No.

My reading group is loving the character interaction, but is hating the “cliffhanger every chapter” feeling. Still, 5th graders are having fun with this.

A new quirky library wouldn’t be just that without a Dr Seuss reference:
the immortal words of Dr. Seuss: ‘The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.’

I couldn’t be friends with Charles Chiltington. I’d need to carry around an Oxford Dictionary just to understand him.

wish I had read a book like this when I was younger. Maybe I would’ve got into reading a lot earlier and not racked up so many library fines.

Does Mr. Lemoncello’s Indoor-Outdoor Scavenger Hunt board game exist? It sounds great!

This book is clever, but it seems it is drawn out. I'm ready for these kids to crack the code and escape the library.

“I’m hoping to find a classic board game,” mused Curtis. “Mr. Lemoncello’s Bewilderingly Baffling Bibliomania.” <-- Sounds like an awesome game that I would love to play! This book is reminding me of an American bookish/gaming edition of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

"This is their chance to discover that a library is more than a collection of dusty old books. It is a place to lean, explore, and grow!" That's what Mr. Lemoncello says when a parent asks him why the over the top fanfare about the library lock in. I think this is a great description of a library and what it should be to everyone.
