This is an amazing book that I have read before. It’s supper fun and easy. I haven’t read it in years though. I really love it and can’t wait to read more when and if I have time. I’ve only read 18 pages lol. #donthaveanytimetodomyfavritething

Is this a children's book? Yes. Does it read like a library/board game version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Yes. Can I put it down? No.

My reading group is loving the character interaction, but is hating the “cliffhanger every chapter” feeling. Still, 5th graders are having fun with this.

I couldn’t be friends with Charles Chiltington. I’d need to carry around an Oxford Dictionary just to understand him.

wish I had read a book like this when I was younger. Maybe I would’ve got into reading a lot earlier and not racked up so many library fines.

This book is clever, but it seems it is drawn out. I'm ready for these kids to crack the code and escape the library.

This is a good book, but a little confusing to follow.

Reading aloud with Bennett, but it’s 304 pages so I’m counting it lol

That's what Mr. Lemoncello says when a parent asks him why the over the top fanfare about the library lock in. I think this is a great description of a library and what it should be to everyone.

This book is interesting with it's alliteration and wisdomic quotes.
