I love how we immediately separate the two obvious love interests not even 25% of the way through the book for no reason whatsoever. I do think Delarua should sleep with her ex-fiancé (who is now her sister’s husband) if for no other reason than to make something exciting happen. Also, the taSadiri are eugenicizing their way through culture death which like!! That would not be my first instinct but okay !
