The welsh stuff was a welcome surprise. I'm still not sold on the inevitable relationship between Grace and whatshisface.

I'm really enjoying this so far. Very quiet sci-fi, giving me major The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, vibes. The only thing that I don't like is the inevitable romance between the main character and the main male lead. I'm biased because pretty much everything he stands for is kind of ... ick, but I'll see how it plays out.

I like how no one has an issue with having female children so you can marry them for a more pure bloodline...

This book is weird so far, but not in a bad way

This has a very episodic feel to each chapter. Is this done purposely?
It feels more plot driven than character study. And there is romance aspect. Not insta-Love thankfully.

I can’t believe it’s going to end soon and the twists keep coming.

I feel like this book should be a TV series.

I’m doing this as an audiobook. It might be the voice actor, could be a book that doesn’t translate well to audio but not feeling it. Will try a different one of hers.
