Enjoying it so far. The humour is quite subtle and there are lots of references to old films and film stars eg Humphrey Bogart and Errol Flynn. French phrases sometimes could be annoying to anyone who doesn’t speak French, though for the most part they are self evident or sometimes translated.
It’s definitely typical cosy crime, the characters are good. It’s just not in an English village but a French one.
