The Bungalow mystery is told in first person narrative. I know that it is first person narrative because Nancy Drew tells the story and she only knows her thoughts.

I chose this book because I liked the other Nancy Drew books and I thought this would be good as well. I am a big fan of Nancy Drew books and Mystery books in general which made me want to read this book.

The significant moment is when Nancy finds out her dad is an danger. This moment is significant because this is when she starts to find her dad. This matters because it is the beginning of the story so its sets the tone for the whole story. This is a turning point from when everything is great to when she starts to worry.

A pattern I’ve noticed. Nice = innocent. Rude = guilty of something.

As Nancy puts on tire chains during another deluge, she “wished with all her heart that someone would come along and blunter to help her. However.. she was forced to depend upon her own resourcefulness.”

Could it be that “keen” is put into each book. I saw it in the Old Clock too :)

In my book, I think the target audience is teenagers. I think this because all of the characters that are mentioned besides the parents and guardians are around the teen age. They also include intense themes including near death experiences and possibly abusive guardians. Finally, there is also complex vocabulary that younger children would usually not be able to understand or put into context.

In this book, Nancy is facing the conflict of character v. character. I know this because she is trying to solve the bungalow mystery, therefore the one who committed the crime is who she is going against. She has many useful skills that allow her to somewhat battle this person throughout the book which continues to lead me to think it is character v. character during the entire book.
