Currently reading this with my daughter. I read a lot of Nancy Drew as a girl and enjoyed it, but as an adult this is striking me as a little dull. There's a lot of exposition and recapping of what we've already learned, and characters described through expository dialogue rather than developed naturally. The vocabulary is good.

It's really good and I just love it. I held off from reading theses books because I thought they were stupid but I've realized that was a huge mistake.

I really like Judy and Alison because Judy is so cute and she is very mature for her age. I was surprised when Abbey let Nancy in because I thought she would be mean and that Abbey was hurt because I thought since could take care of Josiah when he was ill she would be fine. I can tell this will be a quick read. It's a good story, but a bit predictable. I think I already know how the sisters will get the money from the will they are destined to have.
