Revisiting one of my favorite childhood books.

Decided to read some of my books from childhood. I still love Nancy Drew.

The writing isn't that great, but it's an entertaining read so far.

Found some old books from my childhood this weekend in some boxes. Thought I'd give them a quick once-over since they're fast reads. :)

I love how evil = ugly in the nancy drew verse. Hahahahaha

I had forgotten how quickly I go through these. xD

We're reading the second one for my Children's Literature Into Film class next week so of course being me I had to start back at the very beginning. [:

My book shows there are only 113 pgs.

I am so glad she got out of that closet!

I have to admit I love the language in this book, with all the proper English and no slang or swearing. I feel a bit sad though that so many people are basing all their hopes for the future on inheriting money from someone who died.

I've always wanted to read a Nancy Drew book if for no other reason than to have done so. It's actually a very entertaining light-read; nothing groundbreaking here, but it's quaint with a great writing style for a light read that doesn't gradually lose reader interest. Not bad at all.

Josiah Crowley left his fortune to the greedy Tophams after promising various friends and family they'd be in his will. Nancy believes he wrote another will that is missing and is determined to find it.

So Far It's Really Good. Im Reading "The Hidden Staircase" And It's Really Interesting...

Nancy tries to get her father to help her figure out if Josiah ever wrote a later will. It seems almost impossible that he would give all his money to the Tophams after promising it to many other people... especially when the Tophams treated him poorly. Was there ever a later will written?

this book is really good better than i thought.

Nancy is surprised to see a very young girl in the street as a careless truck driver in front of her almost knocks into the child and zooms away. Nancy is stunned and quickly runs out of her convertible to bring the young child back to her home. She is shocked at what the driver in front of her had done and how suspicious he seemed; is this a new mystery for Nancy...?

I am really enjoying this book because i love a good mystery
