Status Updates From The Secret of the Old Clock

I love this book so much!

And its a really good book

About to head to bed, and it's nearly 3 in the morning. I am loving all the Moon Lake section due to the fact I play the video games as well and all I can think about is Ghost Dogs of Moon lake, even though it wasn't one of the best games.

I've been in a reading slump hoping my favorite detective can get me out of it.

A true blast from the past! There are at least three exclamation points on the first page! Maybe that is where I got my love of this expressive punctuation mark!!

Finished my first Nancy Drew book.

It's nice to read something fun and easy when you are sick

I hate reading this slow, but I love reading to my little sister !!

Mia seems to be enjoying the book, I'm not used to reading this slow though !!

Not bad at all. I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm finding this enjoyable. Different and strange to read something written for its apparent audience in this time period. The dialogue and characterizations are reminding me of 1950's family television, except much, much better for my tastes.

I told myself not to stress out about this marathon. I wanted to finish this today but I will tomorrow. This book is longer than I expected! I can't wait to finish this!!!

I am loving Nancy Drew but I hardly believe there is someone like her in real life. I hope she finds the will, I feel bad for all these supporting characters!

Is Nancy Drew still in Highschool or college doesn't exist at the moment? This is interesting but I need the plot to go faster!

Pretty pumped that I found new editions of these in Target today. I loved Nancy Drew when I was little.

Within a few pages Nancy's father has been referred to as Mr. Drew, father and my favorite, the lawyer, when speaking. Seriously? I find this incredibly annoying.

I know I read these as a kid but I completely forget them...just reading this one for nostalgia unless I really enjoy it and go forward in the series.
