Status Updates From Firestarter

All in all, it just leaves me with a lot of questions. How do we know what we think we know is actually what we know, and not what we don’t know that we don’t know, or we know we don’t know but don’t know we know? Okay, that was confusing. Basically, I’m asking how we know that we know what we know is true. If you still don’t get it, I can no longer help you.

What is happening so far makes me wonder about several things. “Fire-Starter” continuously talks about (from Andy’s point of view) how he had no idea what was real and what was fake for 2 days after being injected with Lot 6. We rely on our senses, as the humans we are, to survive. But what happens when our senses are deceived? What is the difference between reality, and what we perceive to be reality? Is it there?

Currently, Cap, the leader of The Shop is discussing with Dr. Wanless how they are going to detain Charlie, who has pyrotechnical abilities. Charlie, and Andy, her father are currently on the run because Charlie is the offspring of 2 people injected with Lot 6, an “incredibly powerful painkiller-hallucinogen”.
