So the audio book for this was NOT the way to go

It seems like whenever I get an audible credit I regret the book I choose.

I have become a lover of monster books…

No me está gustando mucho, siento que la protagonista tiene mucha misoginia interna, y el narrador en primera persona hace que se pierda el misterio que creí que tendría este libro.

Estoy en un bloqueo lector y los libros de Regine Abel siempre me sacan de estos. Esperemos así sea con este libro.

DNF. Stopped at 45%.

The spooky mistwalker hero drains the life force of two men, putting them in comas, and when federal agents confront him about this they swing from “You’re coming with us, demon!” to “Aww, you really love her! Well, no harm no foul, just don’t do it again,” in an instant. My already tenuous suspension of disbelief just can’t recover from that.

This book is too oddly paced. Dnfing it.

We’ll just keep up the carbon copy guys then - dressed in all black again. At least it’s not leather this time.

The dialogue in this is kind of vapid, which as to be expected, is grating. Also I hate the protagonist’s sister - she’s a spoiled ungrateful waste of space who refuses to follow simple instructions.
