I couldn’t resist finally starting this

I’m really enjoying book 3, I think the trajectory of this series is interesting, book 1 was heavy on the plot and journey and now with book 3 I feel it’s a lot more character focused. And that’s fine it’s fun but there’s a huge spotlight happening which is something I’m realizing I really don’t like in stories🙄

Ms. Forna is dragging this fight scene. Enough is enough. Wrap it up!

Loving the momentum of this finale so far!

Even though this book is longer than the others in the series, it is fast paced. I appreciate not agonizing over small things holding the characters back from big things.

Honestly just trying to get this over with. Very slow paced. Very bored. Come to realize I only liked the first book. The second was worse. Now this third one is 🥱

So far the book is amazing. I love the writing style.

On page 252 Deka says something about “feeling a tug Myter taught her to recognize when she’s traveling (by opening a door) to a place she’s never been. Then, almost at the climax, Deka thinks “huh sucks I can’t open doors to places I’ve never been”
PLOT HOLE
