I know Sebastian has an aversion to killing. But not to violence. If you can move super fast, then why don't you take away their guns, take away their masks!? Sigh

Not sure why the Uditi don't infiltrate the Library themselves. Why does Sebastian have to do it?

Main protagonists in this book seem unable to control their biological impulses

Where is the smoke coming from? Is the smoke in the lungs waiting to exhaled? Are we moving forward in time or backwards in time? Are only certain aspects moving backwards in time? Are we moving forward through time backwards? Because if it was truly backwards then all actions would be reversed. Guns would be unshot, cars undriven, walking backwards, talking backwards.

Some details are cute, like the cigarette that you un-smoke.
But does it make sense?

This book is weird because I thought it would be about time flowing backwards. Instead it's a mystery mixed with an action movie mixed with politics. At this point the hook of the book, that time is flowing backwards, is just window dressing.

Wow, was not expecting that to happen to Tinbane.

Certainly true in pulp and romance book, but always strange to see characters who just met fall in love.

Not the plot progression I would've imagined from the premise. It's really spiraled into a mix of morality and heist story? 130 pages about competing forces to obtain a person. Reminds me of Maltese Falcon.

Tried to read this book years and years ago. Always thought the premise was interesting, but never had the time to commit to it.

As always Philip K. Dick spins one crazy story.
