More weed imagery in “Farm II”—“Weeds what you call them\These things sitting like mail to be read\Toward the end of afternoon”.

“Grand Galop” ran right past me.

I’ve found a poem to add to my all-time favorites for reading over and over until I can recite parts to myself—“Scheherazade”. Love it.

“Grass writing”...”to punctuate like doubled-over weeds as the garden fills up with snow” from A Man of Words. Just like the imagery.

There is something about these poems that keeps me rereading them over and over—and they get clearer each time. Makes me think of water in a pool as the ripples dissipate. How’s that for “contagious” poetry?!

Love the sound, pondering the sense. So far I am pleased with the way my New Year’s resolution is working out.
