So far so beautiful and tragic. The description of a drowning victim is incredible and heart rending.

A bit too much of geography for me, the narrative is kind of jumpy time-wise and literary sophisticated, which is not bad but makes it difficult to follow the story sometimes. Alex Jennings’s reading is brilliant though.
