Skimmed it and/but: I'm glad he's included the chapter on jQuery--not because I'm a huge fan of the library, but b/c it's important to acknowledge its influence, and its place among JS devs.

Good to review the ajax material every once in a while. Also: every time I see JSONP I think "fancy!" and every time I actually see what it is I think "that's all?" ALSO: Comet: come again?

I'll admit it. I kind of skimmed the events chapter. (This is material I know pretty well...)

"Scripting Documents". Crucial chapter. Will be re-reading and re-reading again. So much good information.

Mostly skimmed the RegEx chapter (having just finished "Regular Expressions Cookbook" and all that...); and though I also mostly skimmed the Subsets and Extensions chapter (again, mostly review) the stuff in there about iterators and generators was very interesting.

Classes and Modules. A lot of this was review, though some was new. (Or at least unfamiliar enough to seem new.) I skimmed parts of it, but recognize that this is somewhere I'll be circling back when I need to get more in depth.

Flanagan, looks like a good specialist. I like this guy. He seems, anticipates my questions and answers them.

damn this thing is dense, but the best JS book I've come across. I understand now why Crockford recommends it!
