I like how he starts off with two great thinkers, Darwin and Einstein, and how they unified the seemingly discordant disciplines of biology (in the 1850s) and physics (in the 1900s). They are examples of the impressive capability of the human brain as their theories were obtained merely through the pen and paper analysis.
He continues, why can't we do the same for neurology and understanding the brain? So he does.
