I like how he starts off with two great thinkers, Darwin and Einstein, and how they unified the seemingly discordant disciplines of biology (in the 1850s) and physics (in the 1900s). They are examples of the impressive capability of the human brain as their theories were obtained merely through the pen and paper analysis.
He continues, why can't we do the same for neurology and understanding the brain? So he does.

To raise our own awareness of how our brains work,
Try this: Recite the alphabet.
You probably remember this from childhood and can do it easily.
Okay, now try this: Recite the alphabet backward.
This suggests that our memories are sequential and in order. They can be accessed in the order that they are
remembered. We are unable to directly reverse the sequence of a

Pretty important talks and rehashes of the free will problem and why consciousness might be able to be put in computers.

So far is Einstein theories and nothing specific on frontal cortex. OK he brags about Nuance tech is used in Siri and Watson (own company). nevertheless I'm biased over AI, if that creature don't have blood and veins so his choices consider his fragility . that's why I wanted to hear what the leading transhumanism has to say

I'm not in mood to continue reading it right now. This book is about how the brain works. The thing that is matter to me right now is, how we can use the brain or anything else (an engineering approach)
