Fur. Humans have hair, cats have fur.
And yeah I get this is nitpicky but it kinda goes into Conrad not feeling super cat-like. Yeah he purrs and headbutts, which I like, but beyond that, he communicates more like a human (with words to Lulu and "meow!" To everyone else). Cats communicate with so much more than vocalization. ☹

Oh bleah, Conrad the cat actually talks like a human in this book. Only to Lulu - to everyone else, it's just "meow," but to me, that reduces the magic. A great thing about cats is how expressive they are without words, and I love when authors make the most of that. Seems like that won't be the case here, and instead we get a sidekick who happens to be a cat.
