I didn’t expect where this story ended up going, tho I suspect other readers would figure it out far earlier. It’s cute!

This is truly such an endearing relationship. Who doesn't want a demon shaped boy in your house to carry all your groceries.

Not the genre I was expecting second person pov in but the author's really making it work.

Hmmm mixed feelings so far

That's the thing about having been stuck in place for so long. You stop being able to see the possibilities you can carve out for yourself.

I'm definitely getting some Penric and Desdemona vibes, and I'm loving all the back and forth conversation and interaction here. :)

Oh wow, I had totally forgotten that we were dealing with 2nd person here. And even so, I made assumptions about "my" gender. Huh.

I'm being constantly distracted by the fact that a main character's name is: "Shine." Which given the Asian influence has me mentally reading it as 「死ね」。Which in Japanese means "Die." with a strong implication of "Fuck off." So mentally I'm reading:

"...cards his hands messily through [FuckOffAndDie]'s chestnut hair."

Dammit.
That aside though, the plot's in full swing and I'm having a grand time! :)
