Status Updates From Josey Wales: Two Westerns

This is a fast-paced story. I love the realism of the novel, "Gone to Texas," and the references to the real-life bushwhackers and rebels of the immediate post-Civil War era. Having been in Texas and New Mexico plains and some back country, I also enjoy the detailed setting.

This is so much fun! Also - the number of similarities between this book and Ellen O'Connell's western romance 'Without Words' have convinced me that O'Connell read this book as research for 'Without Words'. The main characters from both are basically identical.
