a question i've been having in my book is what is Damon and Stefan's plan to take down Samuel to defeat him?

my favorite part of reading this week was, whenever Stefan and Damon had went back to Samuels mansion estate and, they found his brother Henry. who is also a vampire and they had, had a conversation about how samuel had dated Katherine. and Katherine is the vampire that changed damon and stefan. and they had both had been in love with her and dated her or more like they were under her "compultion"

my question was before I read, was that what would happen when Damon and Stefan went to Sameules house and confronted him, that what would happen?

my favorite thing that I read this week, was what I read in my book today. in my book Stefan and Damon, who are brothers, they're sort of on the run from a dangerous vampire. well Damon had a plan, for him and Stefan to go to Samuels house and challenge him to a "fight" or "duel" and that's what they did

a connection that the book made in the text was whenever stefan was explaining to a human what feeding off of humans and drinking blood was like he said, "i suppose it's like coming into a firelit room after spending a night sleeping in the rain"
