Oh how good it felt to be back. Lila, Kell, Rhy, Alucard and all the new faces. Excellent piece of writing, awesome fantasy.

The prose is so wonderfully lyrical at times, it's really standing ou to me without being overwhelming.

Loving the transformation Kell goes through in this book. The periodic flashbacks to see his progress juxtaposed with him getting ready for his mission are exceptional. As for his alter ego, I'm eager to see where schwab takes it and whether or not he will get his magic back in the end (in which case he would literally be unstoppable. This is exactly what I want for him).
