Schwab, you genius

Schwab's fascination with thievery is wearying. And I don't know how Lila could have gotten even worse, but she's definitely harder to tolerate. Everyone else is fine and enjoyable, just...just calm down with the glorification of stealing, Victoria. It's not that amazing of a trait. Neither is being a pain in the ass to everyone you meet because you're Not Like Other Girls. Sigh.

He hated Alucard for being soft. There were tears in his eyes when he looked up, and Berras hated him for that, too, the way he let them roll down his cheeks, the emotion that flooded his face. He hated Alucard for not hating himself.

No hay avances, los personajes y sus historias están desperdiciadas. Creo que va a tener un final previsible y poco satisfactorio. Los personajes tampoco maduran, y, no sé si por error de la traducción, parece que se quedaron congelados a principios de sus veinte, cuando ya deberían estar más próximos de la treintena.

The story building in this book is amazing! It jumps in timelines, worlds, and people’s perspectives. I’m in awe with the way V.E. Schwab is able to make everything fall together! It’s like 4 stories at once with new ones coming and going in between! Yet somehow I’m not confused! So excited to see what happens!
