The fact that I have to be this far into the book to feel like I finally have SOME understanding of what the hell is going on and who all these people are is genuinely annoying

Starting to get extremely worried that this book is just an extremely long setup for a sequel

I’m loving this book. it is written in such a cool way and I’m really excited to see how all of the people meet up (that’s what I’m assuming will happen)

I love being back in this world with these characters 😭❤️

The story is hitting its groove now.. going to be difficult to put down, I feel. Great to see that even at Book 4, the story continues to grow.

Oh, how much I missed Rhy, Alucard, Lila and Kell. I love this whole new Kay persona, I like the new characters and Schwab just knows how to build up the stakes. I love the magic system and how it's expanding into more complicated yet entertaining terms. I love the action, the connections between characters and how we're seeing what happened after Osaron lost the battle, seven years prior, and its consequences.

I just found out the Shades of Magic series is basically the prequel, which makes SO MUCH make sense. There's definitely some gaps there that it feels like the author alludes to things I should know, so I'm excited to try out the Shades of Magic books next.

Honestamente no recuerdo mucho de la trilogía, pero creo que más o menos me caía bien Lila.
Después de cierto capítulo... me desagrada por completo.
Tes viene siendo mi personaje favorito, pero tardó mucho en tomar protagonismo.
Y diría que el libro podría tener 100 páginas menos tranquilamente. No es que estén sobrando, pero las diferentes líneas argumentales podrían unirse antes.
