I hate when authors make some characters dumb just so their favorite (spoiler: Lila) seems extra smart. One the other hand this could just be something the other three never thought of since theyre all nobles but I doubt it

Not bad so far (actually better than the last 2) but I just wish that this was about the new characters more than the old ones. Like it’s a ‘new series’ and the blurb talks about all these new characters but it reads like a 4th book

Starting to lose track of all the characters. I think we’re at 6 or 7 and the author is introducing more. Like between 3/4 worlds, and 6/7 characters, I’m becoming weary

Actually I love Nadiya and her and Alucard and Rhy’s whole thing they have going on that’s so funny for them

It makes me so sad whenever a character is like ‘ugh I had to give up my super fun life and now I miss it’ like yeah I miss it too. Go be a pirate again that would be more interesting

Umm seeing Tanis every page is going to get weird very fast I hope she does not stick around

I restarted this on audio (via libby)! I listened to the original trilogy on audio (via audible) and they were some of my FAVORITE books ever, so I thought this would be a good way to finally pick it back up.

Lila4ever! I’m obsessed with her (and not just because we named our second daughter Lila).

im so so sad this book is disappointing me in so many levels… first it was really hard to get into, im still not into it, and please consider that im almost halfway through. i really loved the series and i was so excited to go back into this world but this book seems so long (too long) and there’s so many new characters and nothing really happens this is such a let down and its giving me the biggest reading slump

Loving the mix of older, familiar characters with the fresh and new additions. Rooting for Kosika! 👀 There is hope…maybe. 🤞🏻🪄

I keep getting Wheel of Time vibes from this book and couldn’t figure out why… then it hit me. I’m listening to the audiobook and two of the readers are Kate Reading and Michael Kramer… whom I’m mostly familiar with from the Wheel of Time audiobooks. They’re great readers and I love them, but I keep expecting Rand or an Aes Sedai to make an appearance… :-D
