Me over here desperately trying to remember the magic and political system and how the Shades of Magic series ended because I read them like 5-6 years ago now and I’m so confused being tossed back into this world 🫠

This book is so long but I’m happy to be reading about my favorite characters again

i am enjoying this so much….. i forgot how much i love this world and these characters :D

It’s kind of slow moving but I’m sure it’s just setting everything up for the next 2 in the series… there’s a lot going on.. a lot of characters to keep track of but I’m truly enjoying it.

Almost done, and it's taking me so long, but I swear it's not the book, it's me! I started this in a bit of a reading slump, and it was difficult to get into this world again since it's been so long, and I'm not one for rereading. Also, I love physical books, but they are a bit inconvenient sometimes... Now I'm all in, I'm loving to be back into this world, the queer rep and all these characters I missed so much

LISTEN Nobody told me this book was going to be 600+ pages. I picked this up at the library and it looks like a solid 400 because the pages are so slim😭
