I really like the series. This book is leading into a new direction with new characters but it’s merging together with the original storyline. Basically it’s like one huge problem was solved. What could be the next problem? There’s always a next, right?

every time I go into town via the river walk my mind wanders to holland vosijk. he would love it there. he'd love the colours of it all. and there is a specific combination of greens that I always think of as 'vosijk green' and there is a lot of that there, even when the yellow and orange start to take over like now. anyway.

I’ve been in on the entire series. It’s a very good, exciting story. This story takes a new direction introducing new characters and I have yet to learn how the new characters and new plots will come together and merge with the original characters.

Here i am finally starting this book after own it since 2023 🥴 ADSOM was one of my fav trilogy so excited to be back to The Londons

my rent runs out on the 10th so I'm gonna be moving back home until I start my phd, though I'll still be working full time on my thesis, writing papers for publication and running my etsy (finished all my lab work and my research associate job ends next week too). I am awful at working from home so I will be hopping in the car when my mum goes to work every day and sourcing a cafe of some form to steal their wifi

It's too bad I don't find the Alucard/Rhy story arc or the Tes arc as interesting as the Lila/Kell arc.

It’s just now come to my attention and a reader should (needs?) to read the shadows of magic series first, which makes sense bc I’ve felt like I’m playing catchup for all of this book and being confused why there are such good ratings for what felt like all world-building while simultaneously being nondescript. But I’ve read so much already I won’t dnf, but I am annoyed that wasn’t clear from the start.

Enjoying this one, no surprise there. I’m happy that Lila and Kell and all my other fave characters play such a large part of the story so far. I thought they were just going to be cameos for the most part but I was happily surprised otherwise. 🥰
