Update: Just realized my mistake. Did not realize this was a spinoff of another series. Gonna stop here for now until I’ve read Shades of Magic LMAO

Not gonna lie I’m really struggling to get into this. So far almost every chapter centers around a different character in a different place, some of them are not even named (i.e. “the merchants son” and “the girl in the shop”) and it’s so disorienting I have no idea what’s happening.
