Oh my god this is honestly the best arrangement. I was like damn yeah I guess they need a queen and they have a child but also they just said say goodnight to your fathers and the queen only has interest in her position and her daughter and it’s kinda perfect because the king who they call the “kings heart” get to have a daughter too!

Haven’t you heard I am the unkillable king. That was so badass actually. Like the assassin tries to kill him in a bathtub.

Finally after borrowing it from Libby FIVE freakin times, I finished this one. Omggg - it wasn’t bad, necessarily. It just, didn’t capture me the way Schwab usually does. Also, I already love these characters, this book really kind of made them all seem lackluster and not who she created them to be originally. Sad.
