Having lived very close to many of these places in British Columbia and Vancouver area and knowing a lot about this story, but realizing how very little. I know this is a hard read, but something that still I find very intriguing

I love this book! It's long because the author spends so much time telling the stories of the forgotten women that were murdered by this monster, the VPD blatant disregard for them and the investigator that broke the case despite the odds and police force against him. I'm so happy I went for it!

It's so engrossing, a bit bogged down, which may account for how long it is. I'm in and can't wait to pick (ton) it up after I put it down.

I know it looks like I’m only making 10% progress at a time but for the record the book is 26 hours long. These updates are hours of progress.

3 days overdue at the library and I'm plowing ahead. I waited six months for this hold to come in! The research here makes me assume Cameron is the foremost authority on the subject. Can't stop, won't stop.

Had to move on to another book because it's SO repetitive. 90% of it is the author unnecessarily naming locations. It's as if he had a word count he needed to get in. 🙃

As a Poco local and this farm being just down the street from me, this is terrifying. Insanely detailed and researched. I'm floored.

There is a lot of information included, not all of it pertinent and a decent amount of it is repeated. It ended abruptly after it had been built up so much. I feel like this could have been written better.

I think I've only found 3 points so far that I think k were written very poorly.
One mention that ALL the cops were sexist racist and lazy
There was another generalization about cops but I didn't book mark it. Something about finances as an excuse in some detail and had the cops been wrong and launched a giant search or done so and not found the killer this would be a large concern they do have to justify expenses

Very detailed, I can see how some people have said it's too long and unrelate. But I think it's fascinating that we know all this minutiae

This book is intense. I really like the way they’ve focused on what they know about each woman. So many stories like this focus on the murderer instead of the victims. Giving life to these women and their families in this way is so important.
