Status Updates From World War Z: An Oral Histor...

I feel like this guy is a really good writer but these stories are just not it. Way to bloody short and they all feel the same. Should honestly have DNF this long time ago. Still only 100 pages left now.

The story about the blind japenese man is without a doubt my favourite. Again I wish it was longer.

I'm really loving the longer stories but man the shorter stories take one blink and you're done with them.

Just wish there weren't so many of them that were mediocore. Quanity over quality my man.

So the novel is starting to pick up for me! The stories are getting longer and just more interesting. There is this one interview which talks about people not being able to handle the zombies and start believing they themselves are zombies and will start eating people and such. Interesting stuff.

Have to say that the novel is slowly getting a bit monotone, all the different people from different places kind of have the same speaking form. Which okay I get cause like you are only one author and writing like 70 different voices can get though but it’s something I noticed. It feels like I’m reading a documentary it’s weird man. Almost non-fiction.

Reading more of this novel. The way different places all respond to the same thing, it actually feels real, weird to say I know but if a zombie outbreak ever did happen it probably wouldn’t be much different then this one.

It’s an interesting idea to write a zombie story like this. Haven’t read or before and I doubt I will after. It’s like a dozen short stories of the outbreaks, getting a ton of different experiences. I like it so far.
