I am loving this book even more the second time around than when I first read it. (If anyone's watched the movie, is it like documentary style or action movie style? )
Also this reminds me that I need to seek out more oral histories, fictional or not, because I love them so, so much.

One of the most nuanced takes on an apocalypse I've seen. You could take any of the 100s of mini stories in this book and flesh them out into their own novel, movie, TV show, etc.

This book is keeping it as dead serious as possible and I love it

My coworker recommended this audiobook bc of all the celebrities that narrate parts. Wouldn’t normally choose this but I’m excited!

Not only are zombies fun, but this book might be the best fictional case study of international and domestic politics I’ve ever read.
