:I understand why you would be mad at them, considering they did have to help the whole world to be fair, but I feel like if they did a little bit more instead of waiting, they could have lived and not needed them for help

Reading this at a snail's pace. GOD this book's American exceptionalism is incessant and irritating, I don't understand why you'd insist on writing a book about a worldwide apocalypse but only doing as much research on global politics as much as an American grade schooler.

I didn’t expect it to be so different from the movie. But also it’s so good????!!!

No familiarity with this book except that the movie was based on it, but I’m told the book is very different. I like the style of the first chapter, interviewing after the fact. I wonder if the rest of the book will be like this.

I feel so bad for this guy because he is going to have to kill thousands of people to save more people's lives and if I were him I would have a hard time doing this.

Amazing book!!!

So far so good. If you haven’t seen the movie then some spoilers here, they are completely different like the difference is night and day. The movie focuses on one family and the dad, a former CIA agent, helping find a cure to the virus. The book takes places after the outbreak and how civilization is slowly being built again. And it’s explained through interviews. I’m loving this!

To zabrzmi dziwnie i wiem, że jestem dopiero na 70 stronie, ale czuję się jakbym czytała reportaż opisujący prawdziwe wydarzenia, choć wiem, że to nigdy nie miało miejsca.

If anyone has a zombie book to recommend, now's your chance

One of my all time favorites. I need to read my other books, too, but I started the audiobook of this when I flew out west today and couldn’t put it down afterwards.

Genuinely so boring. I don’t care about a single person. There are no stakes!!!!!!!
I switched to the audiobook version so I can do chores/get through the book faster & i feel like god is punishing me for someone else’s sins

i will be all locked in and then another "we're all one race, the human race" the oppressed in awe of the hero oppressor story will pop up, like enuff!
