The Sanders in The Battle of Hope, reminds me of the Supplies Unit of Shingeki no Kyojin. Sanders are men responsible for refilling the ammos on Infantrymen.

Christina Eliopolis... her subconscious (Mets) helped her to survive. Now, that's one hell of a story!

The chapter with the female pilot running for her life is REALLY interesting. I can't decide whether or not Mets Fan is real or made-up. My gut is saying made-up... p 230

I really like all the accounts of reconstruction! Interesting to read about the Hollywood director's chapter about creating movies that instill hope.

So far so good. I must admit that up until 30 pages ago, I was getting a tad bored. It felt like every record was the same. However, I realize the point is to capture the zombie encounters and experiences during that war. The book has gotten much better now and it's hard to put down again! I am also surprised of the moral questions that naturally come up. Very intriguing.

That moment when being a CEO, an attorney, or a manager doesn't really matter... But being a mechanic, electrician, construction worker, etc does.

A more horrifying scene and probably one of the most inhuman moment that happen during the Great Plague;
Mass murdering the "not-so-rich" people just because they want a safe place to hide.

Maria Shugnova's story was the most dark and tyrannical narrative so far.
Imagine, you are forced to kill your own comrades while they beg for their lives because you cannot disobey military orders.
