I like how the zombie virus doesn't just transport via bite bit also situation like organ transplant in chapter 4 (Warnings: The Amazon Rain Forest, Brazil). It really show how much the author put into the worldbuilding 🧟‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️

Its crazy seeing how many reactions to a global pandemic that Brooks accurately predicted, including inaccurate and racist names for the disease in question, selling pseudoscience for peace of mind wearing away at trust in the medical profession, etc.

World War Z (2013) is one of my favorite films of all time (I watch it at least once or twice a year!) so I'm also kinda surprised why it took me so long to start reading the book it's based on.
